Synopsis[]
During the epilogue of the story, Mary Jane returns to her and Peter's apartment. When she turns the light on, she sees the eyes and spider symbol of Spider-Man's black suit. She asks why Peter was sitting in the dark and notes his breathing sounds funny. The figure of Spider-Man grows a grin over its mask and remarks: "Hi, honey..." Mary Jane realizes the figure is not her husband, and as the figure steps into the light, it is revealed to be a large man with a look similar to the black suit Spider-Man but with claws and a menacing grin. The imposter remarks: "... I'm home!"
